Maison Fauna is excited to announce FootRocket's "What We Learned" EP out January 22, 2021.
DURHAM, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Following his popular albums (via Raund Haus) "Colony" and "To the Moon," FootRocket's "What We Learned" EP brings his unique sound to new depths. Hailing from Durham, NC, FootRocket is quickly solidifying his role as a mainstay of the underground dance scene. After a difficult year for the music industry, FootRocket's new release — a personal, uplifting ode to French and Electro House — emphasizes that even though the clubs are closed, the energy of House music can transport us to other, better worlds. From those distant new worlds, "What We learned" expresses the overview one would have of Earth and humanity, looking off at our planet from deep space. Using classic disco elements like filter sweeps, original vocal samples, and rhythmic synths, FootRocket combines his love for jackin' grooves and astronomy to create an elevated EP with a truly inspiring energy. This energy reminds us better times are ahead. It says, "Don't fear, 2021 is here."
