LONDON - ncarol.com -- Renowned Royal Photographer Millie Pilkington, known for her iconic portraits of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, is launching an exciting new Wedding Photography Awards in collaboration with wedissimo, a new wedding supplier marketplace.

Celebrating Raw Emotion in Wedding Photography
Millie Pilkington's approach to photography centres around capturing intimate, emotional moments—what she calls the "Punctum"—a small yet powerful detail that resonates deeply with the viewer. Her admiration for legendary photojournalist Don McCullin informs her passion for this craft: "If you can't feel what you're looking at, then you're never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures," she says, quoting her idol.

The competition features 12 unique categories, including:
  1. Black and White
  2. Getting Ready
  3. Ceremony
  4. Solo Portrait
  5. Couple Portrait
  6. Bridal Party Portraits
  7. Wedding Fashion
  8. Raw Emotion
  9. Funny
  10. Bizarre
