CLEVELAND, Texas - ncarol.com -- On March 27, 2025, International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) officially broke ground on a brand-new high school campus in the Colony Ridge community of Santa Fe. The new campus, to be built next to ILTexas MSG Ramírez K-8, will become the third ILTexas school in Colony Ridge communities, joining ILTexas BG Ramírez K-8 and ILTexas MSG Ramírez K-8.
This expansion continues ILTexas's commitment to servant leadership, trilingual instruction, and college readiness, offering a full K–12 academic path for students in Liberty County.
ILTexas is a public charter school system serving over 25,000 students across 26 campuses statewide. Its mission is to prepare students for exceptional leadership roles in the international community through a curriculum focused on English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese—a critical global language supported by national security education initiatives.

All ILTexas students receive leadership instruction grounded in the United States Marine Corps' 14 Leadership Traits and 11 Leadership Principles. In high school, students take four years of leadership courses and participate in meaningful service-learning projects inspired by the ILTexas core value: "Others Before Self." Through the Academic Success Program, students and families receive guidance on college and military academy admissions from dedicated advisors.
ILTexas graduates have earned appointments to West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, and the U.S. Air Force Academy, and have been accepted to top universities, including Harvard, Yale, Rice, and Texas A&M.
The new high school represents a major step forward for education in Colony Ridge communities, providing a continued pathway for academic excellence and leadership development.
