Asheville-based artist KayeDinero keeps her prolific streak moving with new singles "BoomTown" and "Pokemon Go," blending mountain-city energy, nostalgia and her increasingly unpredictable creative universe.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Asheville has barely finished celebrating Boomtown weekend, and KayeDinero already has a soundtrack for the moment.
The Asheville-based artist, producer, author and entrepreneur is continuing her rapid 2026 release run with two new singles, "BoomTown" and "Pokemon Go."
"BoomTown" arrives as downtown Asheville comes off the Sept. 4–6 Boomtown Arts & Heritage FestAVL, the free Pack Square Park celebration combining music, arts, storytelling and Asheville history.
For KayeDinero, that intersection of history and modern creative culture fits naturally into a catalog increasingly shaped by her adopted mountain home.
"Asheville keeps giving me ideas," KayeDinero said. "You can walk downtown, hear live music, see something completely unexpected and turn a corner into another experience. That creative energy makes you want to make something."
The connection is thematic rather than an official festival collaboration.

From "French Broad" to "BoomTown"
"BoomTown" joins an expanding group of KayeDinero titles connected to Western North Carolina, including "French Broad," "Appalachia," "Hendersonville," "Barksdale" and "Starlight."
Her second new single, "Pokemon Go," shifts into the playful pop-culture nostalgia that has also appeared in titles such as "Degrassi," "K-Mart" and "Super Ghetto."
That unpredictability has become part of the appeal.
"One day I can make something inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the next idea might come from something nostalgic, funny or completely random," KayeDinero said. "I don't think creativity is supposed to stay in one box."
The releases follow KayeDinero's six-track album City Girl Saved, which traces a personal journey from a Detroit upbringing through Los Angeles and Atlanta before arriving at her current Asheville chapter.
"I brought the city girl with me," she said. "Asheville just gave her new scenery."
