~ Journalist: Meister Media Worldwide has announced their partnership with Agritecture and CEAg World for the fourth annual Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Census. This collaboration aims to create the largest and most accurate census in the industry, providing valuable insights for growers around the world.
The CEA Census, which focuses on technology this year, will gather data from growers of all types of operations, including high-tech CEA setups and more traditional outdoor methods. The findings will be shared at the inaugural CEAg World Conference & Expo in Raleigh, North Carolina on August 26-28, 2024.
Henry Gordon-Smith, CEO of Agritecture, expressed his excitement about the partnership and emphasized the importance of grower participation in creating a comprehensive understanding of the industry. "The CEA Census is more than just a survey; it's a collaborative effort to advance our understanding of the industry," said Gordon-Smith. "Meister Media and CEAg World have the expertise to make this year's report the most comprehensive yet."

Participation in the survey not only contributes to building a robust dataset but also offers benefits for respondents. They will receive six months of free access to Agritecture Designer, an award-winning farm planning software, and have a chance to win one of five complimentary registrations to the CEAg World Conference & Expo.
Lauren Lewis, Corporate Director of Events for Meister Media Worldwide, highlighted the significance of this census as a tool for understanding both current trends and future developments in the industry. "The CEA Census is a proven vital tool for understanding where we are now and where we are headed," said Lewis. "We are excited to work with Agritecture, whose expertise in global CEA is unparalleled, to create an up-to-date guide for continued growth."
