The Golden Jazz Fest Shuttle Returns for 2026

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - ncarol.com -- Golden Limousine International is excited to announce the return of the Golden Jazz Fest Shuttle in proud partnership with WEMU. This annual shuttle service offers jazz lovers convenient and comfortable round-trip transportation to attend the world's largest free jazz festival, the Detroit Jazz Festival, taking place Labor Day weekend, September 4 - 7, 2026.

"We're grateful to partner with WEMU again this year to support an event that means so much to our region," said Sean Duval, President & CEO of Golden Limousine International. "This festival has been bringing people together for decades, and we're proud to help make that experience easier and more enjoyable. Our role is straightforward: providing safe, reliable transportation so guests can spend less time worrying about traffic and parking and more time enjoying everything the festival and the City of Detroit have to offer."

The Golden Jazz Fest Shuttles will operate on Saturday, September 5, Sunday, September 6, and Monday, September 7, providing transportation from Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti to downtown Detroit. Shuttles will depart from Skyline High School in Ann Arbor and the EMU George Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti, with return service from Huntington Place in Detroit.

Thanks to Golden's partnership with WEMU, tickets are $15.00 each way. Guests must purchase two one-way tickets ($30.00 total) to reserve both their trip to Detroit and their return trip. Golden's new booking portal requires departure and return trips to be booked separately.
