CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 3, 2024 ~ Lowe's, a leading home improvement retailer, has announced that it will be the first in the industry to offer customers an in-store experience powered by Apple Vision Pro. This pilot program is set to launch in three test markets this month, giving customers the opportunity to try out Lowe's Style Studio™ for Apple Vision Pro firsthand.
The Style Studio™, which was launched in February, is a revolutionary experience designed specifically for Apple Vision Pro. It allows users to immerse themselves in a high-fidelity 3D kitchen environment and design their dream kitchens using spatial computing technology. With the help of a Lowe's associate, customers can explore and visualize their projects in just minutes.
Seemantini Godbole, Lowe's executive vice president and chief digital and information officer, expressed excitement about this new venture. "Lowe's has a history of breaking new ground in our industry," she said. "Being the first home improvement retailer to offer an Apple Vision Pro experience in select stores is an exciting step in our omnichannel journey."
The in-store experience at Lowe's will involve customers wearing Apple Vision Pro and using the Lowe's Style Studio app to explore preset styles curated by professional designers. They can also customize hundreds of real-world materials, fixtures, and appliances available at Lowes.com or in-store to fit their personal taste. A dedicated Lowe's associate will guide them through the process during their one-on-one appointment.

Customers will have access to nearly 80 billion design combinations with Lowe's Style Studio™, allowing them to create a unique kitchen inspiration that reflects their personal style. Once they have finalized their design choices, they can save them as a PDF and easily share them with friends, family, or contractors. They can also shop for their chosen products either online or in-store.
The pilot program will launch at three select stores starting on June 8th at Lowe's Central Charlotte store in North Carolina. It will then be available at Lowe's stores in North Bergen, New Jersey and Sunnyvale, California from June 22nd to June 25th. Customers in these markets can book an appointment online or walk-in on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lowe's Style Studio™ is the latest innovation from Lowe's Innovation Labs, a team dedicated to exploring and accelerating the future of home improvement through emerging technologies. They have previously developed features such as Measure Your Space®, which uses ARKit and LiDAR Scanner on iPhone to measure rooms, and experiences like Lowe's Product Expert™, which uses generative AI to recommend home improvement products.
