CLAYTON, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Local children's author Heather Barbour Fenty has officially released the third title in her popular Sea Series, Sea You: A Feelings & Friendship Journal. This interactive 30-day journal invites children ages 5 and up to join Sunny the seahorse, Luca, and their ocean friends on underwater adventures that foster self-discovery, confidence, and empathy.

The book offers:
  • Daily emotional check-ins with sea creature friends representing different feelings
  • Creative activities including drawing prompts, mazes, and design challenges
  • Kindness missions to encourage community connection
  • Reflection exercises celebrating each child's unique qualities

Perfect for parents, educators, and therapists, the journal provides a fun, ocean-themed way to help kids navigate emotions, build social skills, and strengthen friendships.

Families are invited to attend, enjoy the storytime, and meet the author in person. Signed copies of the Sea Series books will be available for purchase. Additional readings and events around the area will be announced soon.

"I wanted to create a book that turns emotional learning into an adventure," says Heather.
