FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Kimberlee Roberts has expanded the travel services of Safe Travel Academy LLC  after completing the award-winning Travel Leaders of Tomorrow program, a joint initiative between Travel Leaders Group and leading travel industry companies to attract new talent to the travel industry. Safe Travel Academy LLC specializes in providing safety & security preparation, planning, and booking for education abroad travel.

"Travel safety & security preparation is my passion and I am thrilled to be dedicating my career to serving student travelers as they learn how to prevent & minimize travel risks while seeking out enjoyable, exciting, and unforgettable experiences that expand their self awareness and global perspective, and increase their future earning potential," said Roberts. "As a safety & security consultant and travel advisor, I care about my customers, use my expert knowledge to guide them in learning how to prepare for and prevent travel threats, find the best resources and deals that enhance their enjoyment of travel, and thoroughly assist if undesirable issues cause things to go awry."

The rigorous Travel Leaders of Tomorrow program that Roberts attended gives participants a mix of self-paced study and weekly virtual study groups, combined with lectures from travel industry experts.

Roberts attended Travel Leaders of Tomorrow through the Nexion Veterans in Travel scholarship. Given to a select number of military veterans interested in pursuing a career as an independent travel agent, the scholarship covers Travel Leaders of Tomorrow tuition, the activation fee for Nexion membership, new agent coaching and peer mentorship from a travel agent who is also a veteran.

"Our goal is to give military veterans the tools they need to become a successful independent travel agent," said Heather Kindred, Program Director for Travel Leaders of Tomorrow. "Our graduates are fully prepared with the knowledge and the skills to professionally and successfully serve their clients."
