Gemma's Hope Calls on Charlotte Restaurants to Join Cheers to Hope Drink Fundraiser in 2025

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - Cheers to Hope is a month-long celebration of community, creativity, and compassion, running from November 25 to December 24, 2025. Participating venues craft a specialty drink - cocktail, mocktail, or something else - and donate a portion of proceeds to Gemma's Hope. In 2024, Cheers to Hope raised nearly $3,000 with the support of six local businesses. Those funds created grief resources & keepsakes for hospitals serving parents after the death of a baby.

For 2025, the goal is even bigger:

• 20+ participating venues
• 5,000+ drinks served
• $40,000 raised for grief resources to bereaved families

This campaign will be promoted across Gemma's Hope's social media, website, and event materials, reaching thousands of community members eager to support local businesses with purpose. "Restaurants and bars are the heart of community life," said Kyle Shaw, volunteer at Gemma's Hope. "By joining Cheers to Hope, local venues not only showcase their creativity but also stand alongside families in their toughest moments. Every drink poured becomes part of a larger story of compassion."
