RALEIGH, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Drawbridge Realty has provided a short-term lease to the North Carolina Museum of History for 40,393 square feet of space at Newcastle@1015, a single-story, office and research building at 1015 Swabia Court in Durham, N.C.
The North Carolina Museum of History will use the building to store some 150,000 artifacts while the first major renovation in 30 years takes shape at the museum's home at 5 Edenton Street in downtown Raleigh.
"We're delighted to be able to provide a secure convenient, and environmentally sound location in which to store and preserve the museum's artifacts while museum staff oversee the exciting transformation of the museum over the next two years," said Michael Embree, Managing Director, Drawbridge Realty.
Newcastle@1015 itself was recently renovated by Drawbridge and offers a center landscaped courtyard, a mix of office and conference room space, and climate-controlled warehouse space with truck loading facilities.
