Filmmaker Terence Gordon joins forces with AAWIC (African American Women In Cinema), and EDANA Entertainment for highly anticipated documentary feature film featuring fashion icon, Alfredo Versace, "What's in a Name!" A Versace Story.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Terence Gordon, filmmaker and creator of the documentary feature film, "What's in a Name!" A Versace Story, heads to Utah for AAWIC's Special Film Screening Program that will take place during the Sundance Film Festival.
"What's in a Name!" A Versace Story by Terence Gordon of TnG Films & Black Ink Pictures is a powerful documentary on the life of fashion icon, Alfredo Versace. Mr. Versace, raised from humble beginnings, builds a life of fortune, just to have it all taken away. He's stripped of his name, fortune, and friends, but this documentary shows how he would survive this tragedy in a way that clearly defines his true character. The film explores the subject through his own eyes and those that experienced these challenges with him and gives him a long overdue opportunity and platform to share his journey. It examines the legacy behind the man, and the power and influence of a name such as his.
