Cohen's practice focuses on consumer and personal injury cases including auto accidents, slip-and-fall, trip-and-fall, dog attacks, defective products, fire damage and fire damage. Cohen has secured several multi-million-dollar awards for victims of serious personal injuries.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - ncarol.com -- Jake Cohen, an experienced plaintiff's trial lawyer who has successfully handled personal injury and product liability cases is the newest member of Bisnar Chase's litigation team. Cohen says his goal is to make a difference in people's lives by helping them obtain verdicts and settlements against exploitative corporations and forcing these companies to change practices that are harmful and injurious to consumers.

Cohen said he is excited to join a law firm like Bisnar Chase, which not only has a strong reputation of going the extra mile for clients, but also stands up for people who are unable to do so for themselves.

"Having grown up in a crime-ridden, low-income neighborhood, I'm no stranger to being made to feel vulnerable by those seeking to take advantage of others," Cohen said. "I became a lawyer to empower and arm myself with the tools necessary to not only fortify myself against those who seek to take advantage of their positions of power, but also to stand up for people who are unable to stand up to deceptive insurance companies and other negligent corporations that seek to take advantage of them."

Cohen's experience and his excellent track record fighting for individuals and his passion to stand up for the little guy makes him an invaluable member of Bisnar Chase's litigation team, said Senior Partner Brian Chase.

"Jake's relentless work ethic and the passion he shows when it comes to pursuing justice for seriously injured clients is commendable," Chase said. "We are thrilled to have Jake join our litigation team."

Cohen said he gets tremendous satisfaction from making sure wrongdoers don't get away after causing harm to others by "balancing the scales of justice" and by helping injured victims and their families secure maximum compensation for their losses.

"Specifically, I hope that my efforts act as a deterrent to any future misconduct by those wrongdoers but also similarly situated wrongdoers who may undertake to engage in such conduct in the future," he said.
