One of Professional Pickleball's Top Stars is Coming to Brevard for Thanksgiving Week

BREVARD, N.C. - ncarol.com -- One of the brightest talents in professional pickleball is trading the international stadium circuit for the Blue Ridge Mountains. Skyterra Wellness Retreat announced today that touring pickleball professional Judit Castillo will headline a special three-day Pickleball Intensive from November 22–25, kicking off the resort's annual Thanksgiving week programming.

Originally from Spain, Castillo has rapidly ascended the ranks of the PPA Tour, APP Tour, and Major League Pickleball (MLP). A former collegiate tennis standout, Castillo holds a gold medal in Women's Pro Singles from the APP Sacramento Open, a bronze medal from the USA Pickleball National Championships, and back-to-back pro singles finals appearances on the 2026 international tour.

During her time near Brevard, Castillo will lead three days of high-level court strategy, competitive play, and intimate clinics on Skyterra's 155-acre campus located between Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest.
