RALEIGH, N.C., July 16, 2024 ~ Raleigh, N.C. - WellCare of North Carolina (WellCare), a subsidiary of Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) and a Medicaid health plan, has recently achieved Health Equity Accreditation Status by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). This milestone was originally set to be completed by mid-year 2025, but WellCare has surpassed expectations and achieved it in mid-year 2024, demonstrating their strong dedication to health equity.
