Vantiva selected for outstanding leadership and advocacy supporting the RDK community at the RDK Global Summit 2024
PARIS - ncarol.com -- Vantiva (Euronext Paris: VANTI), a global technology leader enabling Network Service Providers (NSPs) to connect consumers worldwide, today announced that it was this year's recipient of the "Distinguished Leader Award" from RDK. The RDK community is comprised of more than 600 companies including Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) manufacturers, SoC vendors, software developers, system integrators and service providers committed to using RDK open-source software to standardize core functions used in broadband and video devices.
"Vantiva's contributions have been crucial in making RDK a global force in broadband and video innovation," said Jason Briggs, President and General Manager of RDK. "NSPs see the benefits of RDK's versatility, and the essential role of a proven partner like Vantiva for large-scale implementation. Vantiva has earned this year's 'Distinguished Leader Award' for their outstanding leadership and advocacy supporting the RDK community around the globe."
Earlier this year, Vantiva announced that it has shipped more than 125 million RDK-based CPE products since 2012. Vantiva has been an active member of the RDK community since its inception, providing RDK solutions across IP, Hybrid and Quadrature Amplitude Modulation devices. In 2014, Vantiva contributed software that helped enable RDK to expand its applicability to broadband devices, meeting the demand of operators worldwide for greater technical commonality among suppliers.
