Merrill, a member of the Uhland community since 2018, has deep ties to the town as both a business owner and a public servant, having served on the City Council and the Economic Development Corporation. His vision for Uhland Pop Shop stems from a desire to help the town establish a cohesive identity and foster a stronger sense of belonging.

"Uhland is growing rapidly, but it's lacked a solid identity in the larger region," Merrill explains. "I wanted to do my small part to help create that identity and build community pride.
