RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Officials of The Preiss Company (TPCO), one of the nation's largest, privately-held, student housing owner-operators, today announced that John Preiss has been promoted to president. In his new role, Preiss will oversee executive leadership and continue to foster the company's growth in both student and conventional multi-family industries. "Having played an integral role in making our company what it is today, John has demonstrated time and again excellent leadership and tremendous fiscal responsibility, making him the perfect person for this position," Donna Preiss said. "I am confident that John will continue to steward TPCO in the proper direction as we pursue our aggressive growth goals."

Since joining the company in 1998, Preiss has held a series of increasingly responsible roles, including broker, vice president, executive vice president of new business development and chief investment officer. In the CIO role, he oversaw all investments and joint ventures.
