DALLAS - ncarol.com -- The "Rooted In Rhythm" showcase is a dynamic initiative aimed at amplifying the often-overlooked contributions of Black and Latina artists in the country music genre. The Millennial Maven Creative Foundation is dedicated to reshaping the narrative surrounding country music by providing a platform for these talented musicians to share their stories and showcase their artistry.

This project stems from a longstanding commitment to community building and bridging gaps within creative career fields. For five years, we have sought funding for this project, facing the misconception that "Black and Latino people don't support country music," which has led to a lack of support for artists from these communities. The Millennial Maven Creative Foundation is proud to finally bring this vision to life and prove that there is a rich and vibrant community of Black and Latina musicians who have a rightful place in country music.

Bridgette Jones, Executive Director of Millennial Maven Creative Foundation, stated, "Our mission with 'Rooted In Rhythm' is to challenge the misconceptions that have held back so many talented artists. We want to show the world that Black and Latina voices are not only present in country music but are essential to its evolution and richness."

Valese Jones, Communications Director, added, "This showcase is about more than just music; it's about community, empowerment, and connection. Great music and food have a unique way of bringing people together, and by lifting these artists up, we are honoring their contributions while fostering a sense of unity among all who attend."

The "Rooted In Rhythm" showcase will take place on April 19, 2025, at Tupps Brewery in McKinney, Texas. Attendees can purchase tickets and find more information by visiting  https://www.millennialmavencf.com/.

The Millennial Maven Creative Foundation invites everyone to join in this important celebration, as we work together to bridge gaps and build stronger connections through the power of music and community.
