ASHEVILLE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is proud to recommend author Martha Jane Orlando's The Glade Series and Adventures in the Glade Series to help keep children and young adults entertained.

Martha Jane Orlando is a passionate author. She strives to inspire readers to be as excited about exploring her stories and meeting the characters as she was to write about them.

The Glade Series was Orlando's first trilogy and features the books A Trip, a Tryst, and a Terror; Children in the Garden; and The Moment of Truth. Orlando's second series, Adventures in the Glade, includes the novels Revenge!; Redemption; and Revelation. Both series are set in the Nantahala Mountains of North Carolina and follow ten-year-old Davy and his family, his issues with new stepfather, Jim, and the wondrous, unexpected, magical encounter with the Old Ones that change Davy's heart and his world forever.

Both trilogies are highly acclaimed, with each of the six books maintaining five stars on Amazon and featuring reviews such as the following for A Trip, a Tryst, and a Terror, "What a wonderful story! I found myself smiling quite often while reading. This book is for ALL ages. My entire family has enjoyed it. Even my teenage son, who does not like to read, wants to know when book two will be here." — Five Star Amazon Review
