RALEIGH, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Struggling with writer's block? Frustrated with book sales? Can't land a contract or agent?  See how God's provision for the vision He placed in your heart sustains you on your writing journey.

God's Past Provision:
  1. Financial and Material Provision: God caused the Egyptians to look favorably upon the Israelites, allowing them to leave Egypt with silver, gold, and clothing (Exodus 12:36, 3:21-22). This reminds you to trust your Father for financial and material needs. If He calls you to write, He supplies all the time, talent, and resources you need for success.
  2. Support from the Wealthy and Those in Authority: When it came time to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple, Nehemiah and Ezra received support from foreign kings (Nehemiah 2, Ezra 1, 7:6). God gives you favor with those in authority and help from unexpected sources. Be bold enough to ask and pitch your projects. Keep your eyes open to possibilities. Your next agent or contract may come from an unlikely source.
  3. Daily Sustenance: During their passage to freedom, God provided His people with manna, quail, and water from a rock. He also sent ravens to bring Elijah bread and meat (Exodus 16, 1 Kings 17:2-6). God provides your daily needs — this includes sales, reviews, encouragement, and direction. Jesus said you are to ask daily, so ask! Again Jesus says, "Ask and keep on asking until you receive!" (Luke 11:5-10)
  4. Miraculous Multiplication: Elisha multiplied food to feed 100 men (2 Kings 4:42-44). God can turn a little into much. Each book is a seed. You plant and water, but your Father gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6-8). Keep sowing, watering, and weeding.
  5. Clothing and Basic Needs: God provided Adam and Eve with garments (Genesis 3:21). Jesus later said that the beauty you see in nature should encourage your heart and remind you that your Father will dress you in splendor. Same with books. Your baby is beautiful in the eyes of the Father. Ask Him to dress your child so he or she stands out.
  6. Sacrificial Provision: God provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice instead of his son Isaac (Genesis 22:13). In Christ your Father has lavished upon you all wisdom and insight according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7-8). You already have all you need for success. Ask for His knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Believe His promises.
Trust that God wants His best for you. In Christ!! you have a co-author working on the plot and structure and He loves writing with you. In Christ!! you are worthy. So, too, your books. Believe it!  https://writerscoach.us
