Local Contractor Teams Up with Tewksbury Youth Baseball to Build New Dugouts

TEWKSBURY, Mass. - ncarol.com -- Senco Home Services is building new dugouts for the baseball fields used by Tewksbury Youth Baseball. Tewksbury Youth Baseball has plans to renovate and improve its baseball fields and the surrounding structures. The first stage of this process is building new dugouts. Senco Home Services began construction on the dugouts on Monday, April 10, and they expect to complete the project by the end of the week on Friday, April 14.

The partnership between Senco Home Services and Tewksbury Youth Baseball came about after the leadership of the youth sports organization spoke with Christ Sennott, the owner of Senco Home Services, regarding sponsorships and advertising for the teams. When Sennott learned of Tewksbury Youth Baseball's plans regarding the fields, he was eager to be a part of the project.

"Being based in town, it's important for us to be involved," Sennott said of his involvement in renovating the fields. In addition to having his company based in Tewksbury, Sennott also resides there with his family. He wants Senco Home Services to be a presence in the community that people know they can reach out to when they need help.

Senco Home Services is building the new dugouts, including time, labor, and materials, all at no cost to Tewksbury Youth Baseball. Sennott is happy to donate the new dugouts and to be a part of renovating the fields. "I want the younger generation to have great recreation areas to support their growth and development and to have the opportunity to be involved in team sports," Sennott said. Sennott also has two young daughters who he expects will be involved in youth sports in the future.

Building the dugouts is only the first step in renovating the baseball fields and the surrounding structures. Sennott expressed his enthusiasm for the project and his interest in further involvement with later renovations and other stages of the project.
