About the Artist
Lori Goll loved to draw and paint since a very young age. Her great-grandmother sat with Lori at the kitchen table in Kentucky, showing her the "proper way" to draw a house, tree or fence. Only after attaining an Electrical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech and working a few years in telecommunications, did Lori realize her true love has been ART all along. She is inspired to paint natural vistas, (seascapes/landscapes) birds, animals, waves, rural scenes. Her range embraces peaceful or moody silhouettes, dark evening or golden skies. Lori considers herself a nature painter, working from photographs as well as life, and she enjoys painting en plein air. Lori works in pastel, watercolor, and oil.
