Four years ago, Toshiba reinvigorated its intern program and had a few hundred applicants. The summer 2023 cohort had a couple of thousand applicants. Toshiba offers internships throughout the academic year with fall, spring, and summer cohorts at its Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, Bentonville, Arkansas, and Frisco, Texas, locations. Upcoming internship opportunities cover a large area of business functions including marketing, human resources, software engineering, accounting, industrial design, and more.

"We're honored for our internship program to earn the 2024 Campus Forward Awards," says Julia Orlidge-Diehl, University Relations Business Partner and leader of the internship program at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions. "Winning this award is a testament to our commitment to fostering the growth and success of young professionals. I'm proud to be associated with a workplace that recognizes the importance of nurturing talent from the start, paving the way for a bright future for both the individuals and the organization as a whole."

The Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Summer 2024 Internship postings go live on March 4, 2024, and interested students are encouraged to join our student listserv here to be alerted of our openings. The Summer 2024 program will run May 20 - August 16, 2024.

Along with strengthening professional skills and experiences, Toshiba's internship program offers various activities for networking and personal development. These activities include facility tours, social and networking events, meetings with executive leadership (including the President & CEO), final presentations of their project work during the semester, and other opportunities for personal growth. In 2023, Toshiba organized and hosted over 35 intern activities.
