WHITEHOUSE, N.J. - ncarol.com -- At the ABP Awards Event in November, the REA study 'Peace of Mind on the Move' achieved Highly Commended in the category Excellence in Coaching!

Researcher and Business Psychologist Heather De Cruz-Cornaire, MSc, BSc (Hons), was present to receive the recognition.

The study was initially shortlisted as a finalist in 2 categories:
  • Excellence in Health and Well-being
  • Excellence in Coaching
The global study shines a spotlight on the power of human connection in career transition coaching in global talent mobility. The data points capture the value connection between the psychological contract needs of mobile professionals and how coaching support mitigates potential 'breaches.'

Essentially, the study shows the value proposition of coaching: individuals 'thrive' when their psychological needs are met and feel 'alienated' if they are not.

"We're excited for HR policymakers to dig into this information. While the study was centered on employee mobility, the conclusions are relevant to managing the needs of employees throughout the career lifecycle - support and coaching as employees level up, transition, and even exit organizations are critical." Lynn Wagner, REA President
