We take Jesus at his word: "Whatever you do for one of the least, you do for me." - Christ's Church at Moore Square.
RALEIGH, N.C. - ncarol.com -- "We take Jesus at his word: 'Whatever you do for one of the least, you do for me.' This is the mission statement of Christ's Church at Moore Square."
For the past 18 months, this small church of volunteers has passed out food and water, purchased new clothing items, prayed with and for those Jesus called the "least of these."
"We believe that Jesus meant for us to do for others what He did for all who came to Him: feed, care for, comfort, heal, help, teach, and encourage," said a spokesman for the church. Each week these disciples of Christ worship outside the walls of "church," ministering to people the way Jesus did. "This 'participation worship' is a form of gathering where everyone is engaged, heard, seen, and valued as a person made in the image of God," said the church director of communications.

"Each Monday night from 7:15 to 8:30 PM we hold a 'Jesus Study' at the picnic tables in front of Square Burger. All are welcome."
There is no paid staff at Christ's Church at Moore Square, only volunteers responding to the nudge of the Holy Spirit. 100% of all donations go to purchase food, new clothing, and when possible, provide shelter for those sleeping outside. https://mooresquarechurch.org/
