ASHEBORO, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Piedmont Authors Network Releases COVID-19 Relief Anthology

With the COVID-19 pandemic taking a voracious bite out of the pocketbooks of millions of Americans, Piedmont Authors Network has released an anthology of short stories and essays to raise money for COVID-19 relief.

Asheboro, NC: Piedmont Authors Network (PAN) today announced the release of a published anthology for the relief of COVID-19 financial hardship. AUTHORS CRUSHING COVID-19, an anthology of short stories and essays focuses on the plight that's swept the globe: essays and personal accounts of how the virus has affected many, and fiction stories to entertain the reader.

"Film and recording artists the world over are broadcasting from home, doing their share to raise money for COVID-19 relief, and now the literati has picked up the gauntlet," says Lawrence Kelter, a founding PAN member, and anthology editor.

PAN President, Lynn Chandler Willis, is excited about the group's project. "Every author we contacted was eager to jump on board. The caliber of talent we have going into this anthology is impressive in itself, but that every participating author is donating their talent for the cause makes me honored to consider them my peers."

Almost forty bestselling and award-winning authors have donated their work for the relief fund. A partial list of contributing authors includes Barry Lancet, Jonas Saul, Brendon DuBois, Ed Aymar, Richard Helms, Vincent Zandri, Cheryl Bradsahw, Diane Capri, and Zoë Sharp.

The anthology is currently available on a pre-sale basis through all online retailers via these links Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Writers-Crushing-COVID-19-Anthology-Relief-ebook/dp/B088C3NVDV/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2GY3NCRZB0BQ4&dchild=1&keywords=writers+crushing+covid-19&qid=1589042038&sprefix=writers+crushing%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-1), Additional Retailers (https://books2read.com/u/4j2nNZ). The e-book and print edition is slated for delivery on or about July 1, 2020. PAN is eager to turn on the spigots and begin making charitable contributions when they're most desperately needed. The retail price points are $4.99 for the e-book and approximately $15.99 for the trade paper edition. Both books will be published and distributed by LightSpeedBooks.com. All collected revenues will be donated to thoroughly vetted COVID-19 charities and the Book Industry Charitable Foundation.
