Today, Governor Roy Cooper announced that the State is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Robert Pane Hale, aka "Cowboy", age 67, in Gaston, North Carolina.
On Monday, June 24, 2019, at approximately 11:27 p.m. Mr. Hale was shot and killed in the Hardee's parking lot on Lawrenceville Road in Gaston, North Carolina. Mr. Hale was a commercial truck driver and was found lying between his commercial vehicle and his personal vehicle.
