Governor Roy Cooper today announced the appointment of two District Court Judges to serve in Judicial District 22B, which serves Davidson and Davie counties.
"These appointees have years of knowledge and experience in their district," Gov. Cooper said. "I'm grateful for their willingness to serve on the bench."
Rosalind Baker, of Lexington, North Carolina, will serve as District Court Judge in Judicial District 22B. She will fill the seat vacated by the Hon. April Wood. Since 1984, Baker has worked as a solo practitioner at the Law Offices of Rosalind Baker. Baker earned her Bachelor of Arts at North Carolina A&T State University and her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law.

Jon W. Myers will serve as District Court Judge in Judicial District 22B. He will fill the seat vacated by the Hon. Wayne Michael who retired in February. Myers has worked as a solo practitioner at Jon W. Myers, Attorney at Law in Lexington, North Carolina since 1992. Myers earned his Bachelor of Arts at Wake Forest University, his Master of Business Administration at Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Management and his Juris Doctor at Wake Forest University of School of Law.
