"When it comes to classy, romantic songs you  can always count on veteran soul man, CHRIS JASPER to deliver. Our man has released a slew of smooth, soulful, love ballads and with Valentine's Day looming on the horizon, Chris is obliging with a new tune to aid and abet all the old romantics out there! 'It Started With a Kiss' is a dedication to Mrs Margie  Jasper – Chris' wife of 40 years standing  and the song is both a celebration  of the longevity of their relationship and how it all started – with that very special first kiss, of course! 'It Started With a Kiss' is a 24 carat Quiet Storm moment and it's guaranteed  to provide  some magic on February 14^th and long after."  Soul&Jazz&Funk

"In addition to being an iconic musical artist, Chris is a husband and father, and this year he celebrates his 40^th wedding anniversary with his wife Margie. To celebrate that momentous occasion, as well as Valentine's Day, Chris is releasing a brand new single. 'It Started With a Kiss' is a tribute to that first kiss that led to finding his 'love mate.' It is a terrific love song that still has that deep groove that makes it a certified blue-lights-in-the-basement slow jam."  Soultracks.com
