EDEN, N.C., March 26, 2024 ~ EDEN, NORTH CAROLINA- State officials, community partners, and Nestlé Purina PetCare leaders came together today to celebrate the official opening of the company's newest pet food factory. The grand opening ceremony marked the culmination of over three years of hard work and dedication to bring this $450 million operation to life.
The event was attended by Purina CEO Nina Leigh Krueger, who addressed the crowd and expressed her excitement for this milestone achievement. She highlighted the company's commitment to providing high-quality pet food and creating job opportunities in the local community.

Senator Phil Berger also made an appearance at the ceremony with his dog, Obi. He spoke about the positive impact this new factory will have on the state's economy and praised Nestlé Purina PetCare for choosing North Carolina as their first manufacturing facility location.
