GREENSBORO, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kontoor Brands, Inc. (NYSE: KTB), a global lifestyle apparel company with a portfolio led by two of the world's most iconic consumer brands, Wrangler® and Lee®, today announced the appointment of Tom Doerr as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, effective June 6, 2022.
Doerr will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of integrity, ethics and behavior consistent with the organization's values and mission continue to be upheld. In addition to overseeing fundamental legal and business functions such as compliance, legal strategy, issues identification, crisis management and global trademarks and intellectual property oversight, he also will serve as counsel to the Board of Directors. As a member of the company's Executive Leadership Team, Doerr will report to Kontoor's President, Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board, Scott Baxter.

Doerr joins Kontoor from The Manitowoc Company, Inc. where he served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary since November 2020 and Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary since November 2017. Prior to that, he was Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at Jason Industries, Inc. and Associate General Counsel at The Manitowoc Company, Inc.
