LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25, 2023 ~ Cetera Financial Group (Cetera), the premier financial advisor Wealth Hub, has announced that D. Kent Prewette has joined Cetera Advisor Networks. His firm, D. Kent Prewette & Associates, will rebrand to form a new Cetera Advisor Networks region – Convergent Financial Partners.

Based in Charlotte, N.C., Prewette is an experienced financial advisor who was previously affiliated with Center Street Securities and had approximately $34 million in assets under administration* as of May 22, 2023. He provides full service and retirement planning to clients and specializes in estate planning, securities, life and health insurance, long-term-care coverage, Medicare/Medicaid and veterans' benefits. Before his time working with insurance and financial planning, Prewette spent several years in the radio and television industry.

Prewette will become a partner of Convergent Financial Partners along with Managing Partner Scott Smith who was previously a regional director with Prudential Advisors and has 20 years of experience working with clients to plan for retirement.
