The Assembly itself is mounted to wood blocking in the attic. The roof opening is hermetically sealed using a custom skylight. The solar modules are protected from dust, dirt, hail, snow loading and wind loading. Here are some features of the Assembly unit - supported by attaching to the wood blocking in the attic and the wood blocking around the roof opening, high production solar cells, custom made frame, protected from environmental elements in the attic, custom made skylights, and the skylight metal frame matches the roof color on most roofs. With minimum time on the roof, the installation is a safer – most of the work is in the attic and on the ground. And this just begins to tell the story.
