FRESNO, Calif. - ncarol.com -- At Solar Frame Solutions the goal has been to increase energy production within a given volume of space. After years of research, this has been accomplished. A high-end tier one module was used for comparison. The 3D Solar Assembly is 590W and the tier one module is a 410W solar panel. The result of the modeling study, thru PVsyst software, reveals the SFS 3D Attic Mount Solar Assembly has an 81% gain in energy production in the same footprint.

The Assembly itself is mounted to wood blocking in the attic. The roof opening is hermetically sealed using a custom skylight. The solar modules are protected from dust, dirt, hail, snow loading and wind loading. There are no unsightly conduits, hardware, cables or solar panels – the installation components reside in the attic.  The SFS 3D Attic Mount Solar Assembly provides an energy system held in the attic and concealed by a skylight.  It is aesthetically pleasing and provides world class production.

Here are some features of the Assembly unit - supported by attaching to the wood blocking in the attic and the wood blocking around the roof opening, high production solar cells, custom made frame, protected from environmental elements in the attic, custom made skylights, and the skylight metal frame matches the roof color on most roofs. With minimum time on the roof, the installation is a safer – most of the work is in the attic and on the ground. And this just begins to tell the story.
