Union County's Premier Family Owned and Operated Funeral Service

INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. - ncarol.com -- There is a funeral service company located in Indian Trail, Union County that is a step above the others. What makes them different? Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations puts their money where their mouth is. They don't simply pride themselves in being the only family owned and operated firm in the Indian Trail and Weddington area, they are also the only firm that truly means it when they treat families like family. Life and Legacy president and owner, David L Cook says that as long as he is the owner there will never be a family turned away due to financial restraints and every family who walks through the door is treated with the importance they deserve. "We don't have stockholders to answer to and we certainly don't have commission quotas that keep us from meeting a family's financial hardships."  There are other funeral homes in the area that are corporate, but they don't place those facts on their web pages because they don't want the public to know that. What's sad is that one of the funeral homes that is owned by the Carriage Corporation is less than two miles from Life and Legacy and has always been known as a family-owned firm, but in fact was sold to the corporation over two years ago and to date they still have not announced to the public that they are corporately owned. So, it leaves it up to the families to do their homework to find these facts for themselves and by that time they have more than likely paid way more than they should have.
