The planning organization is adding to the high school competition next year.  This year, local athletes from Grand Bahama competed in a showcase to expose colleges to local talent for recruiting.  In 2024, the group will add high schools and top running clubs from the United States and other countries to the competition.  According to Marvin Henfield, co-founder, there's still space available for both college and high school teams interested in attending.  "We would love to host as many schools as possible.  Contact us as soon as possible, we are 100 Days out and finalizing all details for hotels and travel,"  The host hotel is the Grand Lucayan Resort (https://www.grandlucayan.com/) located on the beautiful Freeport, Grand Bahama beach.

The meet showed great results during the March 2023.  This year's competition included top DI schools including, Texas A&M University that won the overall team award and men's competition, University of South Carolina, Vanderbilt, University of Arizona, Oklahoma University and The University of The Bahamas. The meet is sanctioned by Bahamas Athletic Association ensuring that any records set during the competition is recorded and shared with the NCAA and other track and field organizations.
