Partnering Together to Lead the Green Energy Charge in Texas

ATLANTA - ncarol.com -- Green Energy Exchange, an innovative green energy retail supplier in Texas, is changing the process of how consumers buy renewable energy. They are doing this by creating new partnerships with local power generators to bring affordable renewable energy to homes and businesses.

This unique vision will cut costs for the average consumer and promotes the growth of renewables in Texas.  Capitalizing on this philosophy, Green Energy Exchange has enjoyed tremendous growth in the five months since they've been live. Green Energy opened their doors for business in June 2019, a month after receiving their approval from ERCOT to be a retail energy supplier.

Their partnership with the leading provider of real-time billing and customer communications solutions for retail energy suppliers, SmartGridCIS, has been invaluable with their speed to market service. Giving them the modern solution and user-friendly tools, they need to offer seamless customer experience from enrollment to customer support and billing.

"SmartGridCIS is a valued partner, who helps Green Energy Exchange create a great customer experience," said Patrick Woodson, President of Green Energy Exchange. Woodson went on to say, "When you are getting a venture up and running, it is critical that you have partners you can depend upon. SmartGridCIS has been that type of partner for Green Energy Exchange. They have a user-friendly system that allows us to communicate effectively with our customers. Giving them easy access to information that is vital to them. The customer experience is key, and SmartGridCIS understands how important it is to focus on the customers."

SmartGridCIS offers its REP clients more than just a real-time billing system. They genuinely have the customer experience in mind and offer a portfolio of robust, mobile responsive consumer applications. These include a branded enrollment portal and myAccount self-service portal, as well as broker and payment portals, designed for third parties.

"We're very excited about the success Green Energy Exchange has had in the short time they've been in business. Their unique ability to offer pure green energy will bring them much success in the Texas Retail Energy market," said SmartGridCIS President John Bastian. "Coupled with our proven track record of achievements within ERCOT, it's shaping up to be a perfect partnership."

Green Energy Exchange is one of the fastest-growing startup companies in the deregulated Texas retail electricity market. Very soon, they'll be launching new products and tools for its customers here in Texas.  "We are just getting started with trying to bring some new ideas to this space.  We are committed to clean energy to reduce emissions, fight climate change, encourage the growth of renewables and to getting the most out of technology for a better cleaner future."
