B.A.D. Design Features Gorgeous Interiors with a Tongue-In-Cheek Twist
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Interior design isn't boring – why should a book about it be? That was the thought process that inspired Fatima Lewis, Associate IIDA and Allied ASID, owner of Sage & Tima Designs, LLC, to create an intriguing ADULT design book centered around B.A.D. Design. But both the title and the content are far from the expected.
"B.A.D Design stands for bold, aesthetical, and dynamic design," explains Lewis. "The book features environments that I have created that will make you rethink how you view interior design. My clients come to me with their design vision, which is far from boring, and I help them reimagine the possibilities."
Colorful. Evocative. Dynamic. The interiors represent the larger-than-life personalities of the individuals who inhabit these spaces, and the book reflects that with tongue-in-cheek puns that arouse interest. These colorful and flirtatious spaces are packed with inspiration and insights from the designer's eclectic background.

As Lewis explains: "Interiors are a six-surface canvas to me. I celebrate abstract art, geometrical shapes, bold colors, and eclectic design styles. I do not follow what's trending, and I would choose Egyptian revival over classical design."
One of Lewis' other gifts is working with people who are in transition. She is able to discover what they need their interiors to reflect to empower them to conquer whatever changes are coming their way. Whether designing a restaurant that is a lasting tribute to the son its owners lost, decluttering and redesigning rooms to give a cancer patient a new lease on life, or creating beautiful spaces for a growing family, Lewis is there to help her clients design spaces that energize and empower. Grab her new book and see how it inspires you!
