This prayer reminds us of the spiritual vision God offers to every believer. With open eyes, we can see the unseen blessings and experience the power of Jesus at work in our daily lives.
RALEIGH, N.C. - ncarol.com -- In a culture filled with darkness, where politicians declare—"Our First Amendment stands as a major block to be able to hammer it [truth] out of existence."—more than ever, believers are called to stand in faith, trusting that God's provision, protection, and guidance will lead us to fulfill His plans for our lives. If you desire to have the eyes of your heart opened, pray this prayer
"Father, I ask that You open the eyes of my heart to see Your goodness and all that You have already provided for me. Just as Elisha prayed, I ask that You open my eyes so that I may see Your protection, provision, and abundance around me. Help me to see the vision You have for my success and the works of my hands... and for works yet to be created.
"Lord, just as You opened the eyes of the young man in 2 Kings 6:17, open my eyes to behold the resources you have at my disposal. Let me lift my eyes like Zechariah, to see the fullness of what You see and the miracles of multiplication You see. As You promised in Isaiah 42:7, remove any blindness, spiritual or otherwise, that keeps me from seeing Your hand at work in my life.

"I ask, as Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:18, that You enlighten the eyes of my heart. Let me understand the hope You have called me to and the RICHES of the glorious inheritance You have for me. As David prayed in Psalm 119:18, open my eyes to see promises and blessings in Your Word. Let Your light guide me from the power of darkness, despair, and discouragment that I may walk in the fullness of Your joy, provision, protection, healing, and peace.
"Lord, I declare that if it is your will, you foot the bill. Thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen."
"The referees we used to have to determine what is a fact and what isn't a fact have kind of been eviscerated. Democracies around the world now are struggling with the absence of a sort of truth arbiter." — Democratic politician John Kerry
