CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 8, 2025 ~ SPX FLOW's industrial mixing solutions brand, Plenty®, has recently announced the launch of an updated version of its TM and STM Series Heavy-Duty Side-Entry Mixers. These mixers are designed to provide greater reliability and efficiency, making them ideal for use in some of the most demanding industries such as crude oil storage, sludge management, and other critical mixing applications.

Plenty's TM and STM series mixers have a proven track record of success, with decades of experience serving customers globally. They are known for their energy-efficient, safe, and low-maintenance design that incorporates advanced fluid dynamics and state-of-the-art engineering.

One of the key features of these mixers is their high efficiency and performance. They are equipped with high-efficiency impellers and a durable belt drive system that minimizes energy consumption while improving fluid movement. The mixers also have robust sealing systems, durable bearings, and a tank shut-off device that are designed for longevity with minimal maintenance.

The TM and STM series mixers offer versatility in their application as well. They can be configured in fixed or swivel-angle designs to handle various needs such as sludge suspension, blending, and heat transfer.

The updated version of these mixers also includes a new frame and sling design. The round body has been eliminated to allow for easier mounting options, while the seal cavity size has been increased for improved maintenance access. Additionally, a viewport has been added to make maintenance even more convenient. The sling design has also been updated to provide more room for larger high-efficiency motor frames.

Other notable updates include extended shafts that can accommodate larger high-efficiency motors without added spacers, as well as a new belt guard design that allows for rotation with the motor plate.

Safety is always a top priority at SPX FLOW, which is why the updated TM and STM series mixers come equipped with enhanced safety features that comply with industry requirements. These include mechanical seal leak detection and the use of corrosion-resistant materials.
