An Evening of Celebration and Giving to Fund Scholarships and Transform Lives

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- The Emerald School of Excellence is proud to announce its Annual Emerald Gala, a black-tie event dedicated to empowering teens in recovery and raising critical funds for scholarships. The event will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Casey by Beau Monde, promising an unforgettable evening filled with stories of redemption, recovery, and hope.

The Emerald Gala offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Emerald students while uniting the community to support their academic and personal growth. Highlights of the evening include:
  • Emcee Angie Harmon, renowned actress, guiding the program alongside an inspiring lineup of speakers, including Ward Blanchard, Founder and CEO of The Blanchard Institute, Emerald alumni, current students, and parents, as well as Founder Mary Ferreri.
  • A seated dinner prepared by Executive Chef Sam Diminich and an array of refreshing mocktails.
  • Live and silent auctions, featuring exclusive items and experiences, as well as a raffle and photobooth.
  • An interactive exhibition showcasing Emerald's history, mission, and community impact.
  • Live testimonials from students and staff, offering heartfelt insights into Emerald's transformative work.

Proceeds from the event will go toward building Emerald's endowment, which provides scholarships for Charlotte-area youth in need, ensuring that more students can access the recovery-friendly environment and quality education they deserve. The 2025 Title Sponsor for the Emerald Gala is Elevation Church, whose generous support helps make this event possible.
