The new release has a number of new features to help investigators extract and analyze digital evidence from computers and mobile devices, including a brute-force passcode feature that can determine the passcode for a range of iOS devices.

When a device is connected, easy-to-understand prompts guide investigators through the process so they can quickly select the device make, model, and available methods to acquire the data from that specific device. This streamlines device acquisition and reduces confusion about which acquisition types are available, so investigators can be confident they are using forensically sound processes to collect digital evidence.
