Titusville, FL: David Boland, Inc. has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for the Army Reserve Center project near Asheville, North Carolina

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - ncarol.com -- On 20 June 2024, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded David Boland, Inc. ("Boland"), located on the Space Coast of Florida, the contract for the new 300-member U.S. Army Reserve Center project near Asheville, North Carolina. The project is planned to be performed within a duration of two years and has a contract value of $32M. This will be the second Army Reserve Center constructed by Boland for the Louisville District.

The project will include construction of an approximately 31,000-square-foot Army Reserve Center, a 10,000-square-foot Vehicle Maintenance Shop, a 1,500-square-foot Unheated Storage building, an 800-square-foot Wash Rack building, a bi-level loading ramp, and substantial areas for military equipment parking on approximately 20 acres of property acquired by the Department of the Army in Flat Rock, North Carolina.

The project will incorporate anti-terrorism / force protection, physical security, cybersecurity, and high performance and sustainable building measures.
