Christ's Church at Moore Square is proud to announce their participation in the second annual National Unity Weekend, taking place on Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th, 2024.
RALEIGH, N.C. - ncarol.com -- National Unity Weekend offers Christian churches the chance to live out the core values of Jesus. "We believe in listening to the Holy Spirit's call to bridge divides and serve those in need," said a representative for Christ's Church at Moore Square, Raleigh, North Carolina. "This aligns perfectly with National Unity Weekend's mission of promoting racial unity and empowering communities through shared faith and service."
National Unity Weekend is a weekend of service. "For our 'Team Jesus' members, National Unity Weekend is an opportunity to demonstrate how handing out food, water, clothing, and basic necessities to those experiencing homelessness and hardship is an act of love, justice, mercy, and the grace Jesus gave us when he died on the cross. Just as Jesus saw and served those in need, we are called to do for our neighbor what we wish others would for us. We love to say that in Christ there is no judgment, only Jesus."

A Call to Action: Become a Monthly Sponsor
National Unity Weekend is but one step in the goal of eradicating homelessness in America. Jesus says when you give to the poor you are lending to Him. Every gift, favor, kind word, and packet of food is a loan to Jesus (Proverbs 19:17) With your help, those in need can move beyond temporary solutions into more stable living conditions. By becoming a $25 a month supporter, you can help provide critical resources like motel vouchers and apartment deposits, offering a safe and secure haven for those experiencing homelessness.
Together, believers in Christ can demonstrate the transformative power of faith in building a more unified and compassionate society.
Christ's Church at Moore Square follows the early-church model, where believers, guided by the Holy Spirit of Jesus, act quickly on the needs of others. We offer food, clothing, basic necessities, and spiritual support to those experiencing homelessness and hardship in downtown Raleigh.
