Founder, Chanda L. Spates, established the DDAAT-App! after her own son's suicide attempt brought to light many challenges of siloed resources, Spates,  through MOUs and collaboration agreements has united over 50 organizations and educational & research institutions across the nation each committed to leveraging collaboration, technology, and community engagement for actionable solutions for suicide prevention.

(TM) National Suicide Prevention & School Safety Summit gathers parents, suicide-impacted survivors & families, community leaders, educators, technology firms, mentoring groups, mental health professionals, and industry experts to discuss and implement vital solutions, pioneering innovative-intervention communities across the nation city by city.
