RALEIGH, N.C. - ncarol.com -- In celebration of International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) on June 23rd, STEM For Kids is proud to announce the launch of a special educational resource for teachers, parents, and caregivers for grades K-8 students. It is designed to empower them to spark curiosity and encourage young girls to pursue careers in engineering.

Inspiring diversity in STEM requires both educators and caregivers working together to create a nurturing and inclusive environment. Showcasing real-life examples of people in STEM, careers, and applications of STEM to children is important for inspiring diversity in these fields. Various studies and research show that such real connections help break stereotypes, increase confidence and aspirations, and inspire curiosity and innovation.
