GREENSBORO, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Julian, NC / PRNewswire/ - Just off a small, country highway in Northeast Randolph County, North Carolina, you will find the historic Julian Milling Co.; home to the newly-launched Beardo's Birdseed brand.
"This mill has been in our family for three generations," says owner and Beardo's developer, Eric Horney, "and although we have always focused on selling goods needed for life on the farm, I wanted to expand and develop a line to reach outside of our community and feed the world around us."
As it turned out, that food ended up being for the birds! Beardo's Select-7 Birdseed is a premium quality, hand-blended feed that is mixed by Eric Horney, himself, and formulated from the finest ingredients needed to attract and sustain a vast array of wild birds. Committed to the formula he created, when faced with an imminent ingredient shortage, Horney found a local farmer who was willing to grow the crops he needed in order to maintain the integrity of Beardo's Select-7.
