RALEIGH, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Inmates across the country need hope and encouragement. Jehovah Jireh: The Incredible Provider offers a unique opportunity to provide that support. This short, 24-page graphic novel features the words of Jesus in each cartoon and has the power to transform lives.

Recent incarceration statistics reveal that the United States has the highest incarceration rate in the world, with over two million people in jails and prisons. Now imagine the impact of placing a short graphic novel into the hands of someone who feels forgotten, and is desperate for hope, prayer, and a desire to grow deeper in the Bible.

Here's what inmates might say if more consumers bought and shipped a copy to an inmate:

"I found a copy of 'Jehovah Jireh: The Incredible Provider' on the book cart. It changed me. After almost three years of being incarcerated, going through despair, grief, shame, remorse, unwanted, and lonely, I felt a little light and hope. I felt like a hand reached out to me to tell me that reconciliation, rehabilitation, and forgiveness were possible."

"When your ministry came to the Robertson Unit, I missed the first night but another guy picked up 'Jehovah Jireh: The Incredible Provider' and shared it with me. I started reading it and had an Aha moment. God will put before you the thing that sets you free. Praise God and thank you for being the vessel that God used to patch a hole in my heart."

"'Jehovah Jireh: The Incredible Provider' has been a guide, inspiration, breath of fresh air, and strength. The word has gotten around from the dorms, the chow hall, to the Rec. yard, even the library."
