Lately the novel coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19 has dominated the lives of everyone in the world. From businesses changing their business model to tourists changing their travel plans, the world has been taken over by this pandemic. Unfortunately, Colorado has not been immune to these changes. With the ski season about to start, the busiest tourist season is upon us and businesses are making sure that precautionary measures are in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
DENVER - ncarol.com -- Vail Resorts, one of the largest ski resort companies in the world, has recently issued their stance and safety measures for the ski season. Rob Katz, CEO, stated that all safety precautions are to make sure that reactive changes will not need to be put into place in the event of an outbreak. Instead by being proactive, Vail Resorts can ensure that each visitor is as safe as possible. Some of the most recent safety changes include health screenings such as temperature checks, mandatory face coverings and a reservation system that is unprecedented. Unlike years past, this year will open to only pass holders until December 8th when the lifts are expected to be open to the public. Pass holders will need to make a reservation in advance to be able to ski.

While not mandating face coverings during skiing and snowboarding, Vail Resorts is mandating face coverings in order to access the lifts as well as inside all buildings. If you are standing in a lift line, on a chairlift, riding a gondola, or taking lessons you will be required to wear a mask. There will also be physical distancing measures that are implemented by Vail Resorts staff. Lastly, all transactions will be cashless and the bars and pubs that are normally opened will not be opened this year to restrict the congregation of people.
These changes can seem overwhelming at first, but one thing that will remain the same is AvoLimo LLC's commitment to providing tourists with a luxurious and safe transportation service to any ski resort in Colorado. While COVID-19 may be something that continues to permeate our daily lives, AvoLimo LLC can be the start of your vacation in a relaxing and luxurious way. Let AvoLimo LLC be the service that you use to get to your once in a lifetime ski vacation in Colorado.
