APEX, N.C. - ncarol.com -- Apex, NC — The Apex Public School Foundation (APSF) is excited to announce the opening of its annual Teacher Grant application period, an initiative designed to support innovation, creativity, and excellence in Apex-area classrooms.

Each year, APSF awards grants to educators who bring forward-thinking ideas and impactful projects into their schools, enhancing student learning experiences and opportunities. These grants provide critical funding to help teachers implement programs and purchase resources that would otherwise be outside the reach of traditional school budgets.

"Teachers are the heart of our schools, and their innovative ideas directly shape the future of our community," said APSF President, Barb Conroy. "The Teacher Grant Program is one of the many ways APSF supports educators in bringing learning to life for students across Apex."

All Apex-area WCPSS public school teachers are encouraged to apply. Grant proposals may include requests to cover programs, materials and equipment, technologies and other curriculum/program enhancements. This past year, APSF awarded 14 grants with the potential to impact more than 14,000 students in the Apex community.
